All it takes is One Voice....

Just one voice, singing in the darkness, all it takes is one voice.....
Del Boy singing in Peckham before the riot kicks off to me feels quite apt.  You often hear people say, I didnt vote, my one vote wont achieve much.  Or whats the point, no one will listen to me.  I confess, Ive been guilty of the latter.  But since joining an inspirational group of people who want to do something positive in the face of adversity caused by the present Conservative Government in the UK, Ive thought about this more and more.  What can my one voice do? How can I make it heard?
So inspired by a gentleman from another group, who wrote and published online a series of letters, A Letter A Day to David Cameron, Ive decided that getting my One Voice heard means doing more than becoming a Labour party member, joining a trade union and reposting what the Mainstream Media dont want the public to know on my facebook page.... it means speaking up and speaking out.  So from today, 1st June 2015, Im going to start speaking UP and speaking OUT.

After the Labour election campaign defeat, Harriet Harman promised to listen to what the party members wanted.  I intend to take her at her word.  So from today, I am starting an email campaign:

An Email A Day *(until the Labour party listens to its members)
We want a fairer society for all.  That means no cuts to welfare, anti austerity and a return to the socialist roots upon which the Labour party was founded.

I invite you all, member or not, to join your One Voice with mine, make it sing in the darkness, because all it takes is One Voice.... speak up and speak out with me, and that One Voice becomes Many Voices that HAVE to be heard.
